The Rogosin Institute is a non-profit medical care and researchorganization affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital andWeill Cornell Medicine. Rogosin is one of the premier centers forthe diagnosis and management of kidney disease in the country. TheInstitute also treats patients with diabetes, hypertension, lipiddisorders and cancer and conducts research in these areas. TheRogosin Institute is seeking to hire Hemodialysis Technicians .Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Technician will beresponsible for providing designated care to outpatient dialysispatients; responsible for initiation, monitoring and termination ofhemodialysis treatment. Job duties include setting-up andmonitoring of dialysis machines and water systems, priming thedialyzers, access cannulation, and preparation of dialysatedelivery system, alarm checks, dialyzer connection, monitorsettings and disinfection of equipment according to RI standards.
This is a 4-day per week schedule with alternating Saturdays.
