Position:
Part-Time and Per Diem Dietary Aide Location:
Galleria Woods Senior Living, Hoover, Alabama Pay Rate:
$12.50 – $13.50 per hour
Shifts:
Part time: Every other weekend from 6:00-2:00.
Full-time mornings:
Shift rotates between 5-11:00, 5:30-1:30, and 6:00-2:00. Off every other weekend and one day during the week. Why Work Here?

Responsibilities:
Prepare therapeutic desserts and salads Serve meals in the health center Set up and break down dining room tables Transport hot and cold foods and nonfood items Maintain station equipment and work area in a safe and sanitary condition Comply with personal hygiene and dress code standards Attend in-service training and education sessions Perform specific duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Experience in food service work Experience with prep (sandwiches, fruits, and salads) Experience in working with seniors preferred Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates according to diet orders, and interpret specifications and standards Empathy for the elderly and a good attendance record Healthcare experience preferred
