Summary:
Assists patients with menu selections and meal servicebased on the physician-ordered diet parameters.
Responsibilities:
Receives and responds to phone calls regarding patient and guestmeal orders. Maintains and documents food preferences, diet ordersand food allergies.
Collaborates with assigned nursing units toenhance the patient experience.
Assembles patient meal trays basedon menu selections made in compliance with the patients dietaryrequirements and restrictions.
Assists with patient/guestsatisfaction initiatives. Resolves, refers, and/or reports servicequality issues as appropriate.
Ensures that patient meal process iscompleted in accordance with time expectations.
Helps patients tomake menu selections that comply with their dietary requirementsand restrictions.
