Certified Dietary Manager General summary: The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions to ensure residents’ dining needs are met in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Company standards.

Job Functions:

Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks in a timely manner Responsible for serving meals using proper portion control procedures Serve meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality. Store stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage. Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food. Responsible for cleaning assigned dining and work areas using appropriate sanitizing procedures. Wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice. Ensure compliance with sanitation. Participate in menu planning. Ensures tray and meal accuracy, ensuring therapeutic diets, consistencies and preferences are accurate. adhere to universal precautions Responsible for following sanitary and infection control policies and procedures Responsible for daily cleaning duties. (i.e., sweeping, dishwashing, mopping). Responsible for delivery of the food carts and trays and remove them when meal is finished Ensuring that food and supplies are available upon request Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

:. High school diploma or GED Healthcare food service experience preferred. Willingness to perform routine, repetitive duties, ability to work congenially with others. Sympathetic to the Christian tradition at PRC. Willing to work in any or all areas of the kitchen. Able to move in all directions. Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and push up to (100) pounds on a cart. Position requires walking, reaching, stretching, lifting, handling, talking, hearing and seeing. Must be able to perform the essential job functions either unaided or with reasonable assistance from another person. Stand for long periods and preform duties in extreme cold or hot conditions.
