The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) will ensure accurate, timely food service to meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and to maintain dietary equipment in a safe, sanitary manner.

Oversees the dietary department budget and operates department in conjunction with budgetary expectations. Conducts nutritional assessment on residents to ensure resident needs are addressed and fulfilled. Performs inspections of the dietary department to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the department based on facility guidelines and state laws and regulations. Oversees menu preparation, nourishment and supplements in accordance with company guidelines and state laws and regulations; monitors each day to ensure necessary substitutions are provided. Monitors the department to ensure food is received, stored and prepared in accordance with guidelines and state laws and regulations.
Certified Dietary Manager Qualifications:
Successful Completion of CDM Credentialing Exam Required 2 + Years Experience in Food Service Management Preferred Skilled Nursing/ Long Term Care Experience Preferred
