Dietary Aide Springbrook Hospital 7007 Grove Road, Brooksville, FL 34609 Dietary Aide and Cook positions open The Dietary Aide assembles, prepares and cleans items and equipment necessary for patient and employee food service. He/she delivers food and trays as necessary and provides services to patients whose ages range from adult to geriatric. Benefits are for Full-Time employees only. 1. Prepares individual plates according to portion control standards. 2. Properly garnishes plates to assure attractiveness. 3. Helps to prepare late trays, as needed. 4. Demonstrates knowledge/ability to break down stream table and store leftovers in appropriate containers after properly labeling and dating. 5. Keeps work area clean and in sanitary condition at all times. 6. Reports to work in clean and neat clothes. 7. Wash hands frequently throughout the day and before preparing food. 8. Leaves work area and equipment clean before going off duty. 9. Demonstrates ability to assure safe and efficient operation in performing his/her abilities. 10. Get needed food supplies from storeroom, freezer and refrigerator using appropriate body mechanics. 11. Obey safety rules and regulations of department and report any faulty equipment or unsafe conditions to Director and/or Supervisor. 12. Carry out instructions of Director and/or Supervisor and make necessary changes as directed by management. 13. Follows policies and procedures of hospital and department.
