If you care about helping seniors in our community, our team would love to have you join us. The Oaks of Clearwater is a fifteen story senior community that has a beautiful view of the water for all to enjoy. Benefits includes health, dental, vision, PTO and a referral program. The following Skills are needed to perform the essential functions of the position of Tray Setter. Recognize and respond to the meal delivery needs of residents. Effectively serve food, clean up kitchen and dietary area, dispose of garbage and waste from meal preparation, wash dishes, utensils, etc. Perform tasks in a manner conducive to a home like environment for the residents. Perform the essential functions of the job in a manner that benefits residents of the facility and complies with business necessity. Set up trays, tables, beverages, and silverware. Make and/or serve dessert. Wash and prepare meal cards according to listing provided. Remove food trays from carts, dining rooms, etc. and transport to washing area. Dispose of garbage and trash and keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous items. Follow established safety and infection control regulations and policies. Report accidents and incidents to supervisor immediately in all situations. Participates in on-going educations programs related to the job. Maintains confidentiality of all resident information and facility business. Report disrepair of kitchen and dietary appliances, equipment, etc.
Qualifications:
Education – High School Diploma or GED equivalency Experience – prefer a minimum of six months of dietary experience in the food service capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility Physical Strength Required to perform the essential functions of the job. !
