The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that residents receive nutritious meals that cater to their dietary needs. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and equipment. Collaborate with nursing staff to understand residents’ dietary restrictions and preferences. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
