This position involves working closely with dietary staff to assist in serving and delivery of nutritious meals, adhering to dietary guidelines, and providing excellent customer service to clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and nutrition, along with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Assist in meal service according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed during food service. Support the culinary team in food service operations, including plating and serving meals to clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health regulations. Help with inventory management by monitoring food supplies and reporting shortages as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and accommodating special dietary needs. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow within the dietary department. Experience Previous experience in meal preparation, food handling, or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dietetics or nutrition principles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and team members. Familiarity with food service operations and safety standards is beneficial. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.
