What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate between nursing units and Nutritional Care Department Detail-oriented with ability to manage menu tallies, patient diet changes, and nutritional supplies Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, nursing staff, and clinical nutritionists Previous food service experience preferred High School Diploma or GED preferred Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations Knowledge of safety and infection control practices

What You Will Do:

Assist patients in completing menus and offer alternate food selections as requested Review patient diet changes to ensure timely and accurate meal service Compile menu tallies for food production, nourishments, and nutritional care supplies Monitor and restock nourishment orders, ensuring proper labeling and expiration dates Set up tray lines and prepare patient trays according to diet requirements and portion control standards Deliver meal trays to patients following etiquette and company policy, recording food intake accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area in compliance with infection control and safety policies Utilize kitchen equipment safely and appropriately Perform other duties as assigned
