The Dietary Managerat The Laurels of Summit Ridge acts as the connecting agent betweenthe clinical/dietetics team and the kitchen staff. The CDM isresponsible for ensuring guests receive diet- andtexture-appropriate meals that are appetizing and nutritious. Why just work when you canhelp shape a legacy? Responsibilities Complete diet history/foodpreference screening upon guest admission. Develop, maintain andimplement menus specific to the guest population. Maintain kitchencleanliness compliant with State and Federal guidelines. Supervisepurchasing in the dietary department specific to the facilitybudget. Manage all aspects of kitchen operations includingprocurement, sanitation, scheduling, training, talent developmentand QAPI. Cooperate with other departments to identify andaccommodate guests’ choices, preferences and customary routinesregarding eating. Complete timely and accurate clinicaldocumentation of dietary portion of guest care plans.
Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager Certification orexperienced Dietary Manager. ServSafe Certification required within90 days of employment. High school diploma or equivalent. Prefertwo-year supervised food service experience in an institutionalsetting focused on planning, preparing and servicing regular andtherapeutic diets.
