The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focusedDietary Aide to join our culinary team! These are full-timepositions, and we have the following shifts available:

First Shift:

6:30am – 2:30pm (must be available onweekends) This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions withinthe community. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a

Dietary Aide:

Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required. Serves meals in the health center. Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks downsame after meal. Transports hot and cold foods to and from the healthcenter. Transports all required non-food items to and from the healthcenter. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: A minimum of six months’ experience in nursing home foodservice preferred. Fundamental working knowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitationand personal hygiene. Ability to understand, follow and perform simplearithmetic. Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates inaccordance with diet orders and interpret specifications andstandards. Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests,visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for theelderly. Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, andfollow oral and written instructions in English. Pay Range $15.00 – $15.86 per hour depending on experience.
