Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with meal preparation and ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions
• Set up dining areas and ensure they are clean and organized
• Assist with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure meals are prepared and presented in an appealing manner
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or special requests

Experience:

• Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or culinary setting
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
• Familiarity with working in a nursing home, assisted living, or hospital environment is a plus
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
