Job Summary:
Dietary Aides assist in serving meals to the residents as well as maintaining a clean work environment in the dietary areas of Wesbury’s skilled nursing facility.

Essential Responsibilities:
Serve beverages, entrees, salads and desserts in the dining rooms. Assist with food preparation, dish room set up and stocking. Deliver meal trays to resident rooms. Clear dining and kitchen areas, wash dishes. Set up catering functions. Maintain refrigeration temperatures and place orders.
Requirements :
Read and follow schedules, instructions, and labels. Answer phones and write/leave messages. Perform the physical requirements of the position which include standing, lifting and tolerate handling hot liquids. Work well with others; treat residents, co-workers, and staff with care and respect. Protect resident confidentiality by not sharing information. Adhere to all Wesbury personnel policies as they apply to the workplace.
