Dietary Manager:

Lead and oversee the dietary department, ensuring the delivery of nutritious and well-balanced meals to our residents. Plan and develop menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents, considering individual dietary restrictions. Manage food production, including ordering, receiving, and inventory control. Collaborate with the Kitchen Supervisor and culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with all dietary regulations, including state and federal guidelines. Supervise and train dietary staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular assessments of residents’ dietary needs and update care plans accordingly. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address residents’ dietary concerns and preferences. Qualifications of a

Dietary Manager:

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred. Previous experience in a dietary management role within a healthcare or nursing home setting. Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for elderly populations. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Understanding of regulatory requirements related to dietary services.
