Dietary Aide Sugar Valley Lodge, Inc 190 Sugar Valley Ln, Franklin, PA 16323 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional food service in an assisted living environment. The Dietary Aide will play a crucial role in supporting the dietary department by ensuring that residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Duties Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout food production processes. Support the dietary team in food production, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables. Deliver meals to residents while providing friendly and courteous service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Participate in training sessions related to dietetics, food service, and safety protocols. Skills Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy kitchen environment. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food service practices. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry. Experience working in assisted living or similar settings is preferred but not required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
