SUMMARY:

As a Registered Dietitian, your exceptionalnutritional knowledge allows patients to receive appropriate, highquality diet plans essential to the best nutritional care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assessment

• Complete nutritional assessments forall patients; provide input into Nutritional Support Service roundsfor assigned patients; monitor and document patient progress. DietPlanning
• Provide recommendations for formulations, rate andvolume for all tube fed and TPN patients; instruct patients andfamilies on special diets and general good nutrition; complete dietinstructions for complex diets. Patient Care
• Develop plan of careper clinical data, interview, diagnosis and treatment goals;provide oversight to dietetic technicians in providing patientcare.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalentcombination of education and work experience. Registered Dietitian(RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) either inplace or received within 6 months of hire.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

One (1) to three (3) years of experience. Stronganalytical, computer and communication skills. Exceptional customerservice and patient care.
