The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dietetics and physiology, along with proven leadership skills to manage a team effectively. This role is essential in ensuring that nutritional needs are met for all residents, including those requiring specialized diets and tube feeding. Duties Supervise and manage the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop appropriate dietary plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized meal plans that align with residents’ health conditions. Oversee budgeting processes related to food services, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality. Lead and train dietary staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Monitor food preparation and service processes to ensure adherence to established dietary guidelines and protocols.
