SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Dietitian is primarily responsible for assessment, evaluation of resident’s nutritional needs, providing recommendations for nutritional needs and monitoring resident’s nutritional status in skilled nursing facilities/assisted living facilities providing counseling to residents and family to promote health, wellness and disease control.
