The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the intersection between nutrition, mental health, and recovery, as well as experience working in clinical or behavioral health settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individualized nutritional assessments for clients with eating disorders and addiction. Develop and implement personalized meal plans based on clinical needs, cultural preferences, and recovery goals. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team, including therapists, medical providers, and case managers, to ensure holistic client care. Facilitate group education sessions on nutrition, body image, and eating disorder recovery topics. Provide ongoing support and counseling to clients to address disordered eating behaviors and promote a healthy relationship with food. Document client progress in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements. Stay current on best practices and research related to eating disorders, addiction, and nutrition. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in eating disorder treatment or behavioral health settings preferred. Knowledge of evidence-based practices for eating disorder recovery and substance use disorder treatment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach.
