Health and Wellness Dietitian Position Available In Manatee, Florida

Health and Wellness Dietitian Manatee Memorial Hospital 206 2nd Street East, Bradenton, FL 34208 Overview $7,500 Sign On Bonus with 2 year work commitment. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert nutritional guidance and support to patients across various settings, including acute care, long-term care, and geriatrics. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology and dietetics, as well as the ability to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Duties Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients. Develop and implement personalized care plans that address specific dietary needs and health conditions. Provide education on nutrition, health coaching, and lifestyle modifications to patients and their families. Supervise dietary staff and ensure compliance with dietary regulations and standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutritional strategies into overall patient care. Manage tube feeding protocols for patients requiring specialized nutrition support. Stay current with advancements in nutrition science and best practices in dietetics. Skills Proficient in tube feeding techniques and protocols. Experience in acute care settings, with a focus on critical patient needs. Knowledge of geriatric nutrition principles and practices. Strong understanding of physiology related to nutrition and metabolism. Expertise in dietetics, including food science, meal planning, and dietary restrictions. Ability to create effective care plans tailored to individual patient requirements. Skilled in diagnostic evaluation methods for assessing nutritional status. Experience in long-term care environments, addressing the unique needs of residents. Strong health coaching abilities to motivate patients toward healthier lifestyles. Leadership skills for supervising dietary staff and managing team dynamics.
