SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 8a-5p – Primarily Onsite (with some hybrid working)
RESPONSIBLE FOR
This position provides nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field of study from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Three (3) years of clinical experience working in acute care with nutrition support, specifically enteral nutrition preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Registered Dietitian-Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as a Dietitian
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience in oncology/cancer nutrition counseling preferred. Strong communication skills. Skilled in use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and associated software programs. Experience with Epic software preferred.
