Job Description
WIC Nutritionist (Women, Infants, and Children) 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars 1668 W Peace St, Canton, MS 39046
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their nutritional needs and goals
- Develop personalized nutrition plans based on individual patient needs and dietary restrictions
- Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) certification
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and guidelines
- Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing nutrition plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
