Job:
The Registered Dietitian (RD)(Outpatient) provides clinical expertise for the education,management and behavioral counseling for persons. The incumbentwill educate patients of all ages and their families/caregivers andwill promote and disseminate quality diabetes and nutritioninformation to professionals as well as patients.
What You’ll Do:
- Provides person-centered Medical Nutrition Therapy to individualsand groups of all ages (adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics).
- Member of interdisciplinary team supporting endocrinology andprimary care practices.
- The population served includes peoplewith diabetes, prediabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, digestivehealth, lipid management, food allergies, weight management,failure to thrive, chronic kidney disease, and oncology.
Who YouAre:
- BS in Nutrition or Dietetics, with training in all agegroups required.
- Licensure as a Registered and Licensed Dietitianrequired.
- Member of the American Dietetic Association required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in nutritional counseling in anoutpatient setting and conducting group classes required.
