The Crox Group is seeking a local contract RDN – RegisteredDietitian Nutritionist for a local contract job in Bronx, New York.

Local Contract Interviews patients and/or their families toobtain history of food habits and preferences. Monitors patientsfor and provides education on food/drug interactions. Records foodand drug interactions in the education section. Interpretspertinent laboratory, physical and social data in the medicalrecord, as it applies to nutrition care. Provides nutritioneducation and records patient’s diet and diet instructions and thepatient’s understanding of the diet in the education section.

Consults with physicians regarding appropriate diet modification.

EPIC experience For Post-Acute locations, requirements New YorkState Certification, issued by the New York State EducationDepartment (NYSED) as a “Dietitian-Nutritionist” Registration bythe Commissions on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a RegisteredDietitian. Graduate from accredited college/university with adegree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition Special Note forDietitians assigned to Post-Acute Care (Long-Term Care) facility: ~Under the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, Reform of Requirementsfor Long-Term Care Facilities, as outlined in Section § 483.60 ofTitle 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations all newly-hiredDietitians, assigned to a Post-Acute Care (Long-Term Care)facility, are required to have New York State Certification, issuedby the New York State Education Department (NYSED), as a”Dietitian-Nutritionist” at the time of hire.
