Make It Possible:

In this role, he/she evaluates and counsels’ patients on nutritional needs. Responsibilities include. Nutritional assessment, care plan development, reassessment and education. Document in the medical chart all dietary information regarding the patient. Provide care consistent with the NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital’s policies and HIPAA regulations. This is a full-time day shift position 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm including 1 weekend/month and some holidays, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

1 year of experience with knowledge of medical nutrition therapy. NICU and Peds experience preferred.

Required Criteria:

Must have bachelor’s degree, with completion of an ADA approved internship. Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist NYS
