Job Details:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) administers and ensures that the dining experience, at the highest level, in Senior Living Facilities is nutritionally sound, safe, healthy, and fulfilling for all Resident’s. The CDM makes certain that the nutritional screening, food preferences, and food acceptance are accurately obtained, monitored, and recorded in the medical record in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility guidelines. Collaborates with Registered Dietitian (RD) on a continuing basis to ensure all residents are receiving optimal care as it relates to food and nutrition. The CDM will also ensure that any food and/or fluid-related interventions are added to plans of care. The position is hard work. It entails doing what is directed of you to do by your supervisor at the time, manner, method, and location directed.
