POSITION SUMMARY
A skilled nursing facility is seeking a Dietary Manager to join their team. The Dietary Manager is responsible for the advanced nutrition of residents and is given a caseload of residents. Is responsible to manage the nutrition of short term, long term, hospice, and feeding tube residents.
Dietary Manager Responsibilities Include:
Conduct initial assessments , food preference interviews for assigned residents Monitor progress of short and long term residents and document accordingly Conduct meal rounds and document residents meal consumption and satisfaction Participate in wound round and interdisciplinary meetings Work closely with the interdisciplinary team Participates in meal and menu planning Assist in planning resident meals, guides and individuals and families to food selections Inputs new resident diets food preferences and allergies and make changes to resident preferences as necessary Enters menus in the systems (type) and make changes as necessary Inspects unit pantry, dayroom and dining room area daily to assure compliance with health, safety and sanitation requirements and regulations Adheres to appropriate code of ethics (CC); and Demonstrates regular attendance and punctuality Another task as required by the Registered dietitian Our Company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
