Responsibilities:

Take your nursing career to the next level as an Assistant Directorof Nursing where you will support the Director of Nursing with thedelivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achievingpositive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employeesatisfaction.

• Serve as a clinical operational liaison between thenursing units and the Director of Nursing.
• Responsible for thequality of the clinical operations of the nursing units to includecompliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standardsand regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing todevelop, allocate and control the budget for the nursingdepartment.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement andmentor staff to achieve top of license practice.
• Assist withnurse staffing to include but not limited to performanceevaluations, interviews and orientation of nurses. Qualifications
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college oruniversity with a current Registered Nurse/RN license by the StateBoard of Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years full-time or equivalentclinical experience; at least 2 years’ experience in nursingsupervision in the long-term care setting is required
• Must haveknowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and stateand federal regulations.
• On-call availability is required.
