- $170,000 depending on experience We are seeking a Registered Nurse with leadership skills to work as a Director of Nursing for a leading provider of Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Long-Term care.
The role will be responsible for the overall management of clinical care for residents within a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Pompano Beach, FL. The company which operate the facility have over 60 facilities in their portfolio, spanning 6 states and offer rare stability in the LTC market via their ownership of the buildings, ancillary services and leading on the operations of their own facilities. Relevant experience and responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of local, state and federal regulations governing the delivery of healthcare services.
- Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Understanding of age-specific developmental factors in adults and geriatrics
- Experience caring for residents with the following healthcare needs: Therapeutic, Neuro and Dementia, Dialysis, IV therapy, Infectious disease and wound care.
- Ability to work under the direction of a Licensed Administrator to deliver care to residents in line with company policy.
- Working with the Administrator to hire, train and develop nursing and care staff.
- Development of nurses to enhance their clinical knowledge and ability to deliver top class care to residents.
- Understanding of current Health Department Directives and ability to relay these to staff.
