Shift:
Full-Time, 8:00 AM•4:30 PM We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN)•Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead infection prevention and control initiatives while ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee infection control programs and lead prevention initiatives. Develop and implement evidence-based protocols aligned with federal and state regulations. Conduct staff education and training on infection prevention practices. Perform facility-wide audits and risk assessments. Collaborate with clinical teams during outbreak investigations and mitigation. Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance reporting. Participate in QAPI and interdisciplinary committees.
Qualifications:
Active Florida RN license required. Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility. Must have, as a minimum of six (6) months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices. Strong knowledge of infection control practices and healthcare regulations. Leadership or ADON experience in long-term care/skilled nursing preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Passion for quality care and resident safety.
