1-3 Years+, Risk Management preferred Description We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team! The position would manage the clinical and regulatory compliance for 2 surgery centers. The practice is in a rapid growth and requires proven leadership. Long tenured staff with deep experience, but requires steady and visionary leadership. Anterior and Retina procedures performed. Highly competitive compensation including sign-on bonus and relocation incentives. The Director of Nursing is responsible for directing, coordinating and educating on all aspects of nursing/patient care services for 2 surgery centers including both licensed and unlicensed clinical and administrative staff. The DON is expected to provide direction to the licensed and unlicensed patient care team to promote quality, patient-centric services and a culture of continuous safety and improvement. The DON oversees the delivery of patient care and services to meet Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and state requirements while ensuring patient satisfaction and employee engagement goals. The DON may use outside consultation to supplement their Risk Management experience, but must have a proven understanding of the principals of Risk Management. This position is responsible for the recruitment, orientation, education and professional development of the care team staff. This position develops and fosters collegial relationships with and among the physicians and staff. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes teamwork and reflects the mission and values of the medical practice and ASC. The DON will lead committees and file quarterly reports that ensure practice standards are maintained. Reports to the ASC Administrator. Educational/Role Requirements Licensed

RN, ACLS

required or training will be provided 1-3 years Ambulatory Surgery Center experience strongly preferred Risk Management experience preferred Three years management experience in health care required. 1-3 years experience in ambulatory care setting preferred. Knowledge of current approaches to the delivery of ambulatory nursing care. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Project management, continuous quality improvement and the ability to lead change through innovation and relationships. Employment Type Full-time, Exempt with benefits.
