Job Description
One of our top clients is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join their team and help lead their nursing staff in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
As the ADON, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the nursing department’s culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management.
Develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Conduct ongoing staff education and training to maintain competency and enhance patient care.
Qualifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing leadership, including at least 2 years in an Assistant Director of Nursing or equivalent role
Proven track record of success in leading, motivating, and developing nursing staff.
Strong understanding of nursing policies, procedures, and regulations
