Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care We are seeking a clinically strong, highly motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support nursing operations and clinical outcomes in our skilled nursing facility (SNF) . The ADON will work alongside the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical leadership skills, a deep understanding of care planning, regulatory compliance, infection control , and the ability to support nursing staff in delivering safe, evidence-based care.

Core Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the DON to manage the clinical operations of the nursing department Supervise daily nursing practices to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective resident care Conduct clinical audits and rounds to evaluate quality of care, infection control practices, and documentation accuracy Review care plans, assessments, and interdisciplinary progress notes to ensure compliance and alignment with resident needs Participate in survey readiness , state inspections , and respond to regulatory citations with corrective action planning Provide clinical oversight for wound care, fall prevention, medication management, and restorative nursing programs Assist in developing nursing protocols, procedures, and clinical pathways to support best practices and improve outcomes Support new nurse orientation, clinical training, and ongoing competency evaluations Monitor staffing patterns and support clinical scheduling to maintain appropriate nurse-to-resident ratios

Clinical Qualifications:

Active Florida RN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of clinical leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) , long-term care, or sub-acute rehab setting Strong working knowledge of MDS , care planning , infection control , and medication administration Familiarity with OBRA guidelines, CMS regulations, and AHCA standards Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems Effective communication skills and a collaborative leadership style BSN preferred; ASN with leadership experience will be considered
