Job Description
Job Summary This leader plans, develops and provides operational oversight and management of quality, risk and nursing operations and systems to ensure consistent best practice standards guide the provision of care for all First Physicians Group (FPG) offices and inpatient specialties. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring department and division projects and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of organizational goals. This leader will represent FPG and collaborate with SMHCS system counterparts with regards to FPG overall Quality, Nursing and Risk standards and programs and operations. Required Qualifications
- Require a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or other clinical healthcare field. Master’s degree preferred
- Require a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of demonstrated progressive experience in quality improvement, infection control, risk management, and industry accrediting bodies, as well as experience in operations of a medical office practice, with a minimum of five (5) of those years in a management or executive level role in healthcare preferably in a medical office or acute care hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer experience with root cause analysis process and procedures, as well as familiarity with incident/event reporting investigations and follow-up
- Prefer experience or certification in Electronic Medical Records systems development, reporting and management
- Prefer experience with QPP/CMS programs, ACO/Clinically Integrated networks and Patient Satisfaction metrics
- Prefer proficiency in all Microsoft office products, to include the development and analysis of reports
- Prefer certification in Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
