We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to lead our clinical team with vision, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of quality. Position Overview The DNS is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving clinical excellence, and building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing functions. Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to foster a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal standards and policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes and exceptional satisfaction. Analyze clinical performance data and implement evidence-based strategies for improvement. Develop and manage nursing department budgets, staffing plans, and training programs. Act as a clinical resource and advocate for patients, families, and staff. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) / Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of several years of progressive leadership experience in a post-acute care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing environment. Previous acute care leadership experience may also suffice. Deep knowledge of CMS regulations, clinical standards of practice, and quality measures. Proven track record of leading high-performing clinical teams. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Passion for excellence, innovation, and compassionate care.
