Summary As the Director of Nursing at Life Care Centers of America, you will oversee nursing operations to ensure the highest standards of patient care are met. This leadership role is crucial in fostering a compassionate environment while managing nursing staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities Lead and manage the nursing department to deliver high-quality patient care. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and documentation standards. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that enhance patient safety. Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support for professional development. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements as necessary. Requirements Current RN license in the state of practice. Proven leadership experience in a nursing or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of acute care practices and nursing administration. Experience with hospice and home health services is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and patients. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
