Director of Nursing – RN Diamond Years Adult Medical Day Care Haledon, NJ 07508 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing home and home health environments, with a comprehensive understanding of resident rights and the principles of hospice care. This leadership role requires excellent supervisory skills, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and the ability to manage nursing staff effectively. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of nursing services, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards of care. Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents. Maintain knowledge of physiology and best practices in nursing care to enhance patient outcomes. Advocate for resident rights, ensuring that all staff members uphold these principles in their daily interactions. Manage staffing schedules, training programs, and continuing education initiatives for nursing personnel.
