Director of Nursing DON RAM Recruiting Cortland, NY 13045 A well-established skilled nursing facility near Cortland, NY is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations and guide a team committed to delivering outstanding resident care. This is a full-time leadership opportunity at an almost 200-bed facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all nursing department operations, staffing, and clinical care delivery Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures Guide quality assurance, infection control, and performance improvement initiatives Collaborate closely with department heads and executive leadership Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team with a focus on clinical excellence and morale
Qualifications:
Active RN license in New York 3+ years of DON or ADON experience in long-term care Strong understanding of DOH regulations and quality standards in skilled nursing Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Passion for resident-centered care and team development
