We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team in Syracuse, NY. This is a vital executive position responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, fostering nursing excellence, and ensuring regulatorypliance across all clinical departments.
$150,000-$175,000/annually! Flexible scheduling based on facility needs; candidates have the autonomy to create their own schedules to effectively manage responsibilities. 7-4, 8-5, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all nursing departments
Ensure excellence in patient care, safety, and nursing practice inpliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Lead, mentor, and support nurse managers and clinical staff to promote a culture of clinical excellence and teamwork
Collaborate with the executive team and medical staff to align nursing goals with the hospital’s mission and strategic plan
Manage staffing, budget, and resource planning to ensure efficient department operations
Champion initiatives that support staff development, retention, and engagement

Qualifications:

Current State RN license required
Minimum 5 years of experience in long term care
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Evidence of strong supervision & leadership skills
