DIRECTOR OF NURSING LENGTH
CONTRACT NOTE:

The ADON role is scheduled Monday through Friday and requires availability for on-call duty every third weekend.

PAYRATE:
LOCAL/PER DIEM
  • $45/HR TRAVEL
  • $35/HR
TRAVEL NO HOUSING/SPLIT PAY
  • $20/hr (taxable) + $1120(tax-free) $1920/40hours (20/28-48)
Job Description:

Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing all aspects of nursing care within the facility. Assist with planning, organizing, and directing nursing services to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Participate in recruitment, training, and retention strategies for clinical staff. Monitor staffing schedules and ensure appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios. Help develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices in line with state and federal regulations. Participate in facility inspections, audits, and surveys; assist in ensuring deficiencies are addressed and corrected. Promote infection control practices and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans and family communications. Conduct regular clinical rounds to assess care quality and resident satisfaction. Serve as acting DON in their absence. Handle performance improvement initiatives, incident investigations, and staff education. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting per facility policy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania . Minimum 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing. At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations (including

DOH , CMS

, and HIPAA ). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call availability as needed. Requirements Resume Current
