We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help us uphold the highest standards of nursing care.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department and ensuring quality care for our residents. The ADON plays a vital leadership role in clinical oversight, staff development, compliance, and resident care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and staffing schedules. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance. Participate in hiring, orientation, and training of clinical staff. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans. Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to promote high standards of care. Serve as acting DON in their absence.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in [PA] Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care or senior living Strong knowledge of nursing regulations and best practices Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Compassionate, resident-focused mindset Why Join Haven Place?
