Responsibilities:

The Weekend Director ofNursing is responsible for the overall operations of the nursingcenter starting at 5 PM on Friday until 7 AM on Monday.

• Report tothe Director of Nursing
• Visible leadership position responsiblefor the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective patient carewhile achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family andemployee satisfaction
• Ensure that care delivery is consistent withthe mission, vision, values and policies of Genesis HealthCare andin accordance with accepted standards of practice, state andfederal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Mentor, educate,coach and discipline nursing team members.
• Collaborate withphysicians and other medical professionals, and serve as a resourceto all staff
• May also provide direct patient care to maintainskills.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accreditedschool of nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing, 3 years ofnursing experience.
• Diploma, 3 years of nursing experience.
• BSN, 2 years nursing experience.

Successful nurse leadershipexperience for a minimum of one year. Current licensure by theState Board of Examiners of Nurses in the Center’s state. Mustmaintain current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and BehavioralCenters; ALFs/ILFs as required by State)
