40 Hours Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing administration, with expertise in home health, acute care, and nursing home environments. This leadership role requires excellent management skills, the ability to implement effective systems, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of medical care. Duties Oversee daily operations of nursing services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Manage nursing staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to patient care and nursing practices. Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical terminology and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes and improve service delivery. Monitor patient care quality through regular assessments and audits, addressing any areas for improvement. Provide guidance on shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels and continuity of care. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in nursing administration and home care. Experience Proven experience in nursing administration or a similar leadership role within healthcare settings. Strong knowledge of home health systems, acute care practices, and nursing home operations. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Experience in shift management and staff supervision is preferred. A valid nursing license is required; additional certifications in healthcare management are a plus.
