Hanover Hill Behavioral Health combines two leaders in health care, in the partnership of Universal Health Services & Lehigh Valley Health Network. Our modern 144-bed free standing behavioral health facility is scheduled to open this November and will offer the community high-quality behavioral health care services for seniors, adults and adolescents. The CNO participates in the hospital’s strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. Licensure:
Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of PA. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE accredited nursing program; Master of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will have foundational Psychiatric nursing experience, which is the treatment and care of persons whose principal diagnosis and focus of treatment is a psychiatric disorder, the experience can include working as a staff nurse on a psychiatric inpatient unit or in an outpatient setting with individuals who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities. Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
