Summary:

The Regional Nursing Program Director shall possessinstitution-wide responsibility for the general supervision andcoordination of all nursing education curricula and programs,including courses, course content and outcomes, accreditation andassessment activities, program reviews, and relations with approvalagencies. This position will collaborate with campus nursingdirectors on personnel, equipment, budget, and facilities. The roleinvolves working with institutional and campus leaders involved innursing education across Southeastern College campuses andhealthcare settings. Strong leadership and communication skills areessential to meet the needs of students, faculty, and thehealthcare community at five system campuses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with faculty, program directors, deans, campus presidents,and the Chief Academic and Accreditation Officer to ensure programeffectiveness. Identify industry trends, best practices, new technologies, andsignificant factors for curriculum updates. Participate in budget planning for operational equipment,resources, and training tools. Maintain a strategic nursing plan and oversee all degreelevels. Maintain curriculum maps and evaluation plans based on facultyassessments and student outcomes. Evaluate faculty and staff performance and providefeedback. Facilitate departmental meetings to discuss programeffectiveness and improvements. Attend curriculum, faculty, and advisory boardmeetings. Cultivate and evaluate relationships with clinical sites toensure clinical education effectiveness. Maintain professional development and current knowledge ofeducational methodologies. Coordinate with the college librarian to keep resourcescurrent. Provide backup for faculty and program directors asneeded. Identify staffing needs using the staffing model for nursingprograms.

Reporting and Supervisory Responsibilities:

Reports to the ExecutiveDirector and Chief Academic and Accreditation Officer.

Required Work Hours:

A minimum of forty hours per week, with someevening and weekend hours as necessary.

Competencies:

Ability to analyze, interpret, and present informationeffectively; apply advanced mathematical concepts; define problemsand draw valid conclusions.

Education, Experience, and Training:

PhD in Nursing or DNP Current RN licensure in Florida, North Carolina, and SouthCarolina At least 3 years of academic leadership experience Minimum 4 years of full-time teaching experience Minimum 5 years of nursing practice experience Familiarity with accreditation processes, preferably ACENstandards 8-10 years of strategic leadership in nursing education
