Due to rapid expansion in all of our clinics, we are offering a$6,000 sign on bonus. We are eager to be able to continue to serveclients in our service areas and need you to make this happen! TheDirector of Nursing – Primary Care is part of the person-centeredintegrated care team and responsible for management functionsrelated to the primary care medical nursing services provided inthe assigned region of operation. This position supervises thedirect patient care nursing staff, clinical support staff, andancillary support staff. This is a Full-time, benefit eligibleposition. The schedule is Monday – Friday, Day shift.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

Administration and management of clinicalsupport staff operations; maintain coordination of services andcommunication among program components Ensure that all licensingand accrediting body standards are followed (i.e. HRSA, , NCQA, ,etc.) Oversee laboratory functions and ensure CLIA and OSHAstandards are followed and reported in accordance with regulatoryguidelines Oversee Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Applications,sample meds, vaccines, including the VFC program and ensure thatdocumentation of medication-related activities are accuratelydocumented Order and maintain storage of necessary medications andmedical supplies in accordance with agency policies and proceduresActively participate in compliance reviews, quality improvement,risk management, and quality assurance teams Work directly withRegional Medical Director to support daily operations, clinicalwork flow, and administrative tasks Ensure that all incidents aredocumented and reported Participate in the recruitment, hiring, andtraining of nursing staff Ensure that staff members provideexcellent customer service, evidence-based clinical care, andadherence to Compass Health Network Policies Work with CSRsupervisors and providers to ensure seamless and efficient clinicflow for patients Implement and lead specific Primary Care Projectsas assigned by the Vice President of Primary Care Operation acrossregions and update as needed Provide cross-departmental assistanceand leadership for nursing related activities as directed by theVice President of Primary Care Operations Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK

Regular exposure to blood and/orbody fluids Regular exposure to biohazard waste materialsAssociates degree in nursing required Bachelor’s degree in nursingpreferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

At leasttwo (2) years of management experience in a medical outpatientclinic setting required Working knowledge of medical outpatientoffice processes, terminology, procedures and equipment requiredKnowledge of electronic health records and Microsoft officeprograms required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION RN

licensed in MOrequired LPN licensure with a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcarerelated field may be considered for this position.
