Director of Nursing 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Cleveland, TN 37311 Proudly Serving Those Who Served! We are currently hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for our skilled nursing facility for veterans in Cleveland, Tennessee. The primary function of the DON is to coordinate Nursing Services in accordance with Tennessee State Veterans’ Home Board polices and applicable state and federal laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The DON is responsible for the overall clinical services provided 24-hours a day, seven days per week. Candidate should be a Registered Nurse (RN) and have at least two (2) years of leadership experience in Long Term Care. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and
