Director, Nursing Practice and Improvement – Shared Clinical Services Reports to: Senior Director, Practice Health and Safety The Director of Nursing Practice and Improvement, reporting to the Sr Director of Practice Health and Safety, will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team overseeing various aspects of nursing practice and quality improvement. This role leads the Nursing Practice Manager and Clinical Standard Manager, partners with the Regional VPs and Directors of Operations to ensure practice alignment, reviews audits, and lead nurse specialists to develop action plans and improve outcomes. Additionally, this role drives quality outcomes by leading clinical standards and quality nurse specialists.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:

Develop and lead the clinical education team to ensure that team is well-trained and equipped to provide high-quality care. Supervise and evaluate nursing staff. Monitor performance and provide feedback to ensure standards are met. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring effective nursing practices. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. Quality Improvement Monitor member care and ensure it meets quality outcomes Analyze quality performance at the center and market level Collaborate closely with clinical leadership and operations to identify and address opportunities for improvement Safety Develop policies and processes that ensure the colleague and patient safety and prevent medical errors Lead all center safety initiatives Collaboration Work with medical staff to ensure coordinated care Partner with operations in development of processes and role-based competencies for onboarding new clinical staff, opening new centers, and ongoing development efforts Build relationships with market primary care teams and market leaders

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in nursing, or Registered Nurse with master’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related healthcare field and a valid, active Registered Nurse license A minimum of 5 years’ clinical work experience required Two or more years of management experience in a health system, health plan, or other care delivery organization Demonstrated strong leadership and team building skills Managed care experience including knowledge of HEDIS and CMS guidelines Experience in clinical process improvement, evidence-based medicine, technology assessment, and an understanding of regional and national metrics related to medical outcomes excellence Proficient with computer software programs, to include Electronic Medical Records, power point, Word documents, Excel, graphics, and databases Experience with quality programs including HEDIS and Star measures in Medicare Advantage Ability to travel to visit centers markets at the national level to provide audits, clinical education, and training for members of the clinical team Strong interpersonal communication skills with exceptional active listening abilities Excellent management, analytical and reasoning abilities; ability to work in a fast-paced environment Mission driven and motivated to join an organization that will transform the way we deliver accessible, clinically excellent care to seniors Passion for providing care to culturally diverse and medically complex populations and underserved communities Embodies and serves as a role model of
