Director Of Nursing 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Goodlettsville, TN 37070 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing management, with a focus of Post Acute/Skilled Nursing Facility State and Federal Regulations. This leadership role requires a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance, and the ability to manage nursing staff effectively while ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency. Manage the nursing staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and fostering professional development. Ensure accurate completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and compliance with Medicare guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients. Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction to identify areas for improvement in service delivery. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nursing and healthcare management. Experience A valid nursing license with significant experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of Post Acute/Skilled Nursing Facility State and Federal Regulations. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. In-depth understanding of physiology and clinical practices relevant to patient care. Experience with MDS assessments and Medicare documentation is highly desirable. Point Click Care (EHR) user knowledge is highly desirable.
